FilPass Tamperproof Technology Inc., distributed by JTP Learning Consultancy OPC has signed a 3-year contract with the University of Makati. 

According to University President Elyxzur C. Ramos, University of Makati is one of the Top 5 universities whose transcript of records are being forged in Recto. This is both flattering and alarming. Flattering because it shows that being a UMak graduate equates to higher chance of employability. Alarming because it highlights an opportunity for UMak to put in place a stricter process of issuing authentic documents. 

Integrating FilPass in their system bridges this gap. FilPass will be providing tamperproof verifiable credentials to the students and employees of the University of Makati. 

This will include the use of a data wallet and document management system.

The data wallet will store the personal documents of students and employees such as the diplomas, enrollment forms, transcripts, certificate of employment, and other important information. It may also double as a business card to share data to the stakeholder's network.

The document management system may improve the speed of the backend process of the registrar, finance, human resources and alumni department by providing an issuance and verification system that turns raw excel data into verifiable scannable certificates that would automatically be sent via student email and data wallet.

With JTP Learning Consultancy OPC as its independent business consultant, FilPass is a step closer to changing the digital credentials landscape one institution at a time.
